I'm Debbie DeMarco Bennett. For over 13 years, I've worked in the mental health and psychoeducational space — founding DBT Path, an online school built on the belief that learning and systems should meet people where they are.

That same philosophy shapes every automation I design. I build AI workflow systems that reduce friction, save real time, and actually make sense to the people who use them — not just the people who built them.

My background isn't typical for this space, and that's exactly what makes the difference. I bring deep empathy, careful systems thinking, and a practitioner's eye for what works in the real world. The result: automation that's usable, sustainable, and quietly effective.

A small education business was manually sorting and assigning incoming homework submissions — a time-consuming process prone to delays and errors. Built a full intake workflow with automated labeling, categorization, and routing to the right team member based on submission type.

A service provider was losing track of incoming client requests spread across email threads with no central system. Designed a workflow that captures Gmail messages, logs them to Airtable with structured fields, and triggers automated follow-up sequences.

Systems Migration & Rebuild

Email Platform Migration & Template Rebuild

Full migration of a multi-list email platform from MailChimp to Brevo — including contact migration, domain authentication (DKIM/SPF/DMARC), and complete email template rebuild. Extracted existing sequences from MailChimp and rebuilt and refreshed 24+ emails in Brevo from scratch, converting all merge tag syntax and improving tone and messaging throughout.

End-to-End Automation

Newsletter Subscription System

A faith-based content creator needed full backend infrastructure for a subscription newsletter — from payment processing to subscriber management to email delivery. Built an end-to-end automation stack connecting PayPal subscriptions to Airtable, n8n workflow orchestration, and Brevo email delivery, including a custom-designed HTML welcome email sequence and human-in-the-loop approval before delivery.

Enrollment Automation

Student Enrollment System

An online education course needed a complete enrollment infrastructure — three payment tiers, Stripe subscriptions, automatic student records, and subscription lifecycle management. Built custom Forminator Pro forms connected to Stripe, an n8n webhook workflow that upserts student records in Airtable on every submission, and a second workflow that auto-cancels subscriptions after the correct number of payments and sends a completion email via Brevo.

Mental Health Support Web App

Directed Claude Code to design and build a full Next.js application from scratch — no traditional development team. The app handles sensitive content, requiring a two-layer safety architecture: declarative flags on content objects and a curated keyword-detection system, both routing to a dedicated screen with real crisis resources. Fully static, no backend, no API keys.

Payment Security & Compliance

Secure Card Update System & PCI Compliance Reduction

An online education program needed a secure, PCI-compliant way for existing subscribers to update expired or declined payment cards — without card data ever touching the business owner's server. Built a two-workflow n8n system using Authorize.net's hosted profile API, with a redirect webhook to work around Brevo's click-tracking behavior. Students update their own cards directly on Authorize.net's secure environment.
